A Note On Coaching

What does it take to engage your employees and unlock their business acumen?

How can corporates increase the efficiency of their people by driving their innovative potential?

In the pursuit to make innovation integral part of the organisation, it requires to close the gap between corporate responsibility as social imperative and business growth ambition as economic necessity. To achieve such ambitious goal, it´s crucial to advocate and foster the inclusion of your people to your corporate values and business processes. And there are certainly many methodologies among which you could chose, being coaching one of them.

Coaching establishes a are very close relationship between coachee and coach. It challenges the first in finding solution to his/her own problem – it challenges the latter mentioned in holding back offering personal solutions to a problem not his/her own. Doing so, it unfolds the play instinct and problem-solver drive at the edge of interpersonal interaction. This is the area where innovation emerges, helping to bring individual, organisation and eco-system much forward.

Rather than mentoring people on how they can adopt proof of concepts to find solutions (and probably kill any innovative development right by the roots), coaching helps to emerge disruptive thinking and creativity, building the fertile grounds for innovation to take place.

Don´t go with what you and others already know, don´t make your way the usual way. Sometimes all are better off with people leaving their driver´s seat and become a reliable pillion rider.
